Our favorite actors learned their characters’ fates, given access to the whole six-episode season which drops in 2019. For Emilia Clarke, it came down to a cup of tea and a good read on her own at home. “Genuinely the effect it had on me was profound. That sounds insanely pretentious, but I’m an actor, so I’m allowed one pretentious adjective per season,” Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, offered.

For Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, blitzing through the sixth season left her numb. turner took a walk for hours to process what she had taken in.

For Peter Dinklage, not skipping to the end of the episodes was a first. Normally, his priority would be to check if Tyrion Lannister makes it though any given season alive.

Kit Harington wanted none of it. He didn’t want to know Jon Snow’s fate, nor anyone else’s for that matter. He didn’t want to know anything until the group gathered together in Belfast for the first table read. Ten months of shooting followed with a per-episode budget around $15 million.

Thrones fans will have to wait till next year to see how the story ends.
