REESE WITHERSPOON INKS MEGA DEAL WITH AT&T AND DIRECTV UNDER ‘HELLO SUNSHINE’ BANNER!

She costarred with Oprah Winfrey in A Wrinkle In Time, and now it seems Reese Witherspoon might be following in her famous pal’s footsteps.

Witherspoon, under her Hello Sunshine production company banner, just inked a deal with AT&T to launch Hello Sunshine Video On Demand, a channel bringing women’s stories and female creatives to the forefront. Two unscripted series are also set to launch on DirecTV, one of which will be fronted by Witherspoon herself, titled, Shine On with Reese.

The show will again focus on female-driven content, speaking to trailblazers with a goal to inspire and cover topics important to women. Premiering on July 17, guests will include Dolly Parton and director Ava Duvernay. The second series, Master the Mess, debuting on September 4, will be helmed by Joanna Telpin and Clea Shearer, with the duo decluttering and transforming spaces.

Hello Sunshine has grown exponentially in the last year, with their popular book club leading to a podcast and partnership with Audible and several film and television projects in the works including an adaptation of Celeste Ng’s “Little Fires Everywhere.”
