‘THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI’ WINS TOP PRIZES AT 2018 BAFTA AWARDS!

The stars flooded the red carpet at the EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), which took place at Royal Albert Hall on February 18, 2018 in London. Among those dazzling on one of film’s biggest nights were Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o, Margot Robbie, Angelina Jolie and Saoirse Ronan. Actresses all wore black in solidarity with the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up initiative.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri was the night’s biggest winner, taking Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Actress (Frances McDormand) and Best Supporting Actor (Sam Rockwell) awards.

Gary Oldman took home Best Actor honors for Darkest Hour while Allison Janney won the Best Supporting Actress award for her work in I, Tonya.

Best Director honors went to Guillermo Del Toro for The Shape Of Water. Del Toro has cleaned up all awards season and is a good bet to win at next month’s Academy Awards.

Another big winner was Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya, who walked away with the EE Rising Star Award.
