LEONARDO DICAPRIO SET TO STAR IN UPCOMING QUENTIN TARANTINO MOVIE!

We haven’t seen him on our screens since his Oscar-winning turn in The Revenant, but Leonardo DiCaprio is getting back in the game with a new role.

The 43-year-old star will reunite with director Quentin Tarantino for a new film project, after the pair worked together on 2012’s Django Unchained. This will be Tarantino’s ninth directorial effort with DiCaprio reportedly playing an aging actor in Los Angeles in the summer of 1969 – the summer of the Manson murders.

The August 9, 2019 release date lands on 50th anniversary of actress Sharon Tate’s murder. Other high profile names reportedly interested in roles in the project include Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, according to Deadline.

I, Tonya star Margot Robbie has reportedly been approached by Tarantino to play Tate. That sets up the potential for Robbie and DiCaprio to work together again following the monster success of 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street in which they both starred.

Filming will reportedly begin this year.
