Hosted by Office Christmas Party star, Olivia Munn, attendees included Gal Gadot, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan, Greta Gerwig, Jessica Chastain, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie, Diane Kruger, Emilia Clarke, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Allison Williams, Laura Dern, Elisabeth Moss, Timothee Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Chris Hemsworth, Nick Jonas, Alexander Skarsgård, Norman Reedus, Jordan Peele and many more.

HBO’s Big Little Lies was one of the night’s big winners, with Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern and Alexander Skarsgård receiving individual honors and the series taking home the Best Limited Series award.

Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale also came up roses with Elisabeth Moss and the show picking up awards. Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel also hit pay dirt, winning in the Best Comedy Series category and Best Actress honors for Rachel Brosnahan.

Get Out came out on top with Jordan Peele winning for Best Screenplay and the film winning in the Sci-fi/Horror category. I, Tonya also had a great night with Margot Robbie and Allison Janney both picking up Best Actress and Supporting Actress awards.

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins presented an emotional Gal Gadot with the #SeeHer Award for her positive portrayal of a female character onscreen.

The night’s biggest award for Best Film, a possible indicator of who might take home the Oscar, went to Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water.

Conspicuously absent from Sunday’s show was James Franco, who won the award for Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in The Disaster Artist. Franco has been hit in recent days with multiple sexual misconduct allegations which he has called “inaccurate.”
